Denver, CO 80235. PARKS, BOBBY, 72, of Okolona, passed away Sunday, Octo-ber 22, 2006 at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was a member of Okolona Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and trustee. He also served in the United States Army. He was retired from Adkins Construction Company and was a founding member of the Blue Lick Optimist Club and an Okolona Baptist Church Women's Softball coach for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Kathryne Parks. 3f -y PHILLIPS, MICAH CORY LEN, 38, passed away Sun-day, October 22, 2006 at University Hospital after a gallant struggle against Burkitt's lymphoma. Cory was an avid computer game player, having many online friends around the world. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. With the help of her medical team and supportive friends, Carol successfully combated cancer for 11 years. In 1976, Carol graduated from Seneca High School.

In 1980, she received her BS degree with a major in geology from Western Kentucky University. Carol was employed as a geolo-gisthydrologist with the Arizona Department of Water Resources. Formerly, Carol served with the US Parks Department and Forestry Services as a park ranger. Carol volunteered with the Water for People, serving in Mexico, and was a volunteer tutor with the Boys and Girls Club. Carol was an active volunteer with her church, Foothills Christian Church in Arizona.

Carol's other interests included participatory sports and the humane treatment of animals. Carol is survived by her mother, Patricia Norton, of Louisville; brother, Robert Norton, of Indianapolis; her faithful companion, Shay Bear; and her cherished family of friends and coworkers. We mourn our darling friend, so filled with humor, intelligence and love of life. She grew in wisdom, strength and favor with God and man. Memorial service LEXINGTON MARQUARD, WILLIAM ALBERT, 86, died on October 22, 2006 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center after a brief illness.

He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late William Albert and Anna Wild Marquard. Mr. Marquard graduated in 1940 from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He later served on the board of the University and the Board of Overseers of the Wharton School. Mr.

Marquard began his business career with Westinghouse Electric in 1940. He joined the Mosler Safe Company in 1952 and served in several executive capacities, eventually becoming president in 1967. After its acquisition by American Standard, he served as group executive of American Standard and was elected president and chief executive officer in 1971. Several years later, he assumed the added title of chairman, which he held until he retired in 1985. He continued as chairman of the executive committee of the board until 1988, and was again elected chairman of the board in 1989.

During his business career he also served as director of Chemical Bank, Allied Stores, American Can, Prime America, Shell Oil Company, New York Life Insurance Company and NL Industries. In 1984, Mr. Marquard established Eaglestone Farm near Lexington, KY, which is engaged in thor-o hb red horse breeding and cattle raising. At the time of his death, he was a member of the Board of Trustees of Transyl-vania University in Lexington, KY, and president of Markey Cancer Foundation and Shakertown Village. He was a former member, trustee and elder of the Brick Presbyterian Church in New York City.

Mr. Marquard recently retired as chairman of the board of Arkansas Best Corporation after having served in that capacity for 16 years. He also served as a director of Earle M. Jor-gensen Company, Kelso Company, and InfraReDx. He was chairman emeritus of American Standard, and director emeritus of New York Life Insurance Company.

He was the loving husband of Margaret Haager Thoben Marquard for 64 years; and devoted father of Pamela Ann Marquard of Lexington, KY, Suzanne Thoben Marquard Breckenridge of Brooklyn, NY, and Stephen Allen Marquard of Ridgewood, NJ. He is also survived by his brother, Curtis R. Marquard of Pittsburgh, PA; and seven grandchildren. Everyone who knew Mr. Marquard in life will sorely miss the presence of this most remarkable man.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at the W. R. Mil-ward Mortuary-Broadway in Lexington, with a private inurnment in Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, KY, on Saturday October 28, 2006. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m.

IS. SPECKNER, SISTER MICHELLE, 0SU, 91, died Sunday, October 22, 2006 at Marian Home. Sister Michelle was born in Louisville and entered the Ursuline Community in 1935. She taught at Sacred Heart Model School, Our Mother of Sorrows, St. Raphael and St.

Elizabeth Schools in Louisville and St. Aloysius School in Shepherdsville. She was Principal of Holy Spirit School from 1962-1968 and St. Rita School from 1973-1978. She also ministered in O'Connor, NE; North Platte, NE; Cumberland, MD; Evansville, IN; and Camden, MS.

She is survived by a sister, Helen Meiman of Louisville; and her Ursuline family. The funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at the Ursuline Mother-house Chapel, 3115 Lexington Road, with burial in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m.

lot ROBERTS, ELLA SMITH, formerly of Louisville, passed away in Riverdale, GA, on Thursday, October 19, 2006 at The Healthfield Hospice -Riverdale, GA. Mrs. Roberts was born on August 30, 1927, in New Castle, KY. She worked for the Housing Authority of Louisville, initially as a Housing In-take Specialist, and later became Housing and Occupancy Director retiring in 1981. She assumed the position as Director of Housing and Occupancy for the Louisville Urban League.

"Ms. Ella," as she became fondly known to all, always was a advocate for children, neighborhoods, the disenfranchised and the elderly. This zeal is evidenced by the many committees and organizations of which she was a part. Two of her proudest achievements are the role she played in helping the late U.S. Congressman Carl D.

Perkins of Eastern Kentucky to bring Title 1Chapter 1 in to existence in 1964 and the neighborhood housing initiative begun and being continued by the Shelby Park Neighborhood Association and CHDO, which she was past President. In November 2005, she moved to Columbus, IN to reside with her eldest son, John Wm. Roberts. She moved to Jonesboro, GA in July, 2006 to reside with her eldest daughter, Earletta A. Reynolds.

Survivors include two sons, John Wm. Roberts of Columbus, IN, Anthony J. Dulan of Louisville; three daughters, Earletta A. Reynolds of Jonesboro, GA, Elizabeth L. Sitgraves of Louisville and Sandra L.

Rudolph of Portsmouth, VA; 17 grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren; two brothers, John W. Smith, Jr. of New Castle, Wm. E. Smith of Louisville; sisters, Mary S.
